A few pictures of the kiddos

Most of these are pretty old, as in a month +, but it was all I had on this device. Hope you enjoy!

Gabi's "selfie"

Gabi and Madi "building a snowman" there was probably one snowball underneath all of that, haha!

Little "day day" he was transfixed by that little flower attached, until he figured out how to get it :)

Brynlee and Madi on the swing set!

Gabi and Dayon, they're already buds! (This picture is probably 3 months old!)

Brynlee's 9 month appt

I can hardly believe that my littlest baby girls is already nine months old! She is growing so quickly and changing so fast, I can barely keep up with it. I wish time would go by slower so that I could just drink in those wonderful moments and keep them with me forever.
The doctor said she looked great. She's 27.25inches tall (25-50th %), weighs 14lbs (3rd  %), and her head is 17.75inches (75th %)- which explains why she's so smart! With a noggin' like that!
So, she's still just a skinny little thing, although she eats like crazy. She eats at least three of the big jars of food every day, usually, half a banana, a graham cracker or two and puffs. She is not lacking in the appetite department! She just appears to have a fast metabolism, she'll appreciate that later!
She isn't crawling yet, but the doctor wasn't worried. He looked at me, dead serious and said, "Well, no wonder she's not crawling yet! With a head the size she has and a body the size that she has, it's probably difficult for her to hold her head up." I totally thought he was joking, but no, he wasn't! Hehe!
Brynlee loves watching her sisters and loves playing with them, she started clapping last week, she loves to babble and pretend like she's talking but already can say mama, dad, ga, and duckie. She is fascinated by cords (we'll have to take care of that before she starts crawling!) and loves being around people. She is smiling constantly and loves to laugh. We've been teaching her sign language, like we've done with all of our kiddos, and she gets so excited when we sign to her.
We love our little Bryners!
Eating goldfish crackers
Ready to go on a walk
Showing off her first tooth! (she seriously has longest most beautiful eyelashes!)
Waiting to go on a walk, wanting the camera- love her blue eyes!
Eating pancake for the first time!
 Eating a roll
Eating pancakes at the hotel- such a big girl!
Hanging out in the stroller while her sisters ride bikes
Trying on her tutu for Halloween

With mama on my birthday (I had just let her lick one of my candles,
so she's eyeing it on the table)
Love ya little bryners!

Trunk or Treat!

Like usual our ward had a trunk or treat, but this year there were tons of people and kids! The girls had a blast hanging out with friends, trunk or treating and seeing all of the awesome costumes. Isaac was one of the judges, so, unfortunately he didn't get to go around with the girls and I :( Luckily two of the most awesomest girls in the young women helped me take the girls around. They're the best! Thanks Madi and Kaleigh!
I didn't get very many pictures, but we managed to capture a few at the very end.
Aren't the skirts adorable? My mom made them! They were wearing wings too, but once they found the leaves, off went the wings. Love my girls!

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!

Childhood

You know those moments that you get as a mom, or as a parent, when you are lucky to get a small glimpse into your childs life, their hopes, their dreams, the things they love? I love those moments. Love them.

This morning I heard the girls waking up, so I headed over to their room to say good morning. As I got closer I heard them talking. The conversation went something like this,
Madi:Ahh...I want sticky butter. Gabi, you wake up?
Gabi: Mmmhmmm. Sticky butter? You like it?
Madi: Oh yeah! Gabi you have a snowman on your jammies! And I, (straining to see what's on her own jammies) I have a kitty, I found it all by myself.
Gabi: Yeah, I have a snowman, and you have a kitty. That's great! You hungry? You still want sticky butter?
Madi: Oh yeah!

It was so cute to see their interaction without knowing anyone else is around. Once they noticed I was there, Madi got a little shy. She's such a cutie! They were still excited about discovering what was on their jammies, and the sticky butter for on bread for breakfast. (Sticky Butter is what Madi lovingly refers to Melt Honey Butter as.)

Hope you all have a great day! Enjoy moments like those!

Seriously been way too long

I can hardly believe it's been almost a month since the last time I blogged, so sad. If that's any indication of how busy we've been, it's true, we've been super busy. So much has happened and been going on lately, I can barely keep track of what day it is! I have a ton of pics from this last month, as well as this summer that I really want to blog, but, as it stands, I still have a million things to do before I go to bed, and it's already 11pm. Sheesh!
I will give a quick update on everyone:
Isaac is doing tons better since his surgery, and he was super happy to hit his 6 week mark and have his weight restrictions lifted. He's super busy with work, his calling, and his house full of girls. He's an awesome husband, and an amazing father.
Me: Just celebrated my...28th birthday! Not quite as horrible as I thought it would be, and have finally come to terms with the fact that I'm in my "late 20's" :) I recently was introduced to essential oils, which have now become a part of our everyday life, and it's been awesome. (more on that later)
Gabi: is growing up WAY. TOO. FAST! She is conintually learning and growing. She has become increasingly good at linking concepts, we have to be careful about what we talk about when she's around because we're likely to hear it again.
Madi: is talking more and more and more everyday. She's still a little shy, but smiles a ton. I love that little blondie! She loves to sing everything she talks about, but gets shy when we notice. Today one of her songs was, "Gabi is a big girl! She wears big girl undies and goes pahhhhhhteeee!" In a cute little sing-song voice. So funny!
Brynlee- is growing up so quickly. She's a smart little girl and cannot wait until she can keep up with her sister's. She sits on her own (she's been doing that for the last two months, sorry!) still hates tummy time, smiles a ton, and has turned into a real mama's girl. She is loved anywhere she goes largely due to her contagioius smile, and big blue eyes.
We added an addition to our family, a little kitten that's barely 6 weeks old. Despite me swearing up and down over and over we would NEVER have a pet, I succummbed to peer pressure last sunday when we went to visit our friends, and I found one of their kittens. So cute! He is now a member of our family- for now, and is fondly reffered to as; kitty, her, him, and bubba.
We hope you are all doing well too!

6 Months...seriously?!

Today our little Bryners is 6 months old! I can hardly believe it! She is learning and growing so fast, I can hardly stand it. Sometimes I just want to freeze time and have her stay small, but I love that she is learning new things all the time. We had her dr's appt last week...including shots. Yuck. She's still tall for her age (75th percentile) but skinny (25th percentile). She is still super smiley and has cheeks I could kiss forever! She loves her sisters so much! She loves people in general, and will smile at anyone- seriously, anyone. Unless she's tired...and even then she usually will crack a brief smile. She's becoming more of a mama's girl, but always throws an adorable "bashful" smile at her daddy when she sees him. She loves splashing in the tub and loves being in any kind of water- tub, pool, splash park, you name it. She has eaten baby rice cereal, gerber bananas, sweet potatoes, and graham crackers. She is a good little eater, so it's really surprising she's so little. She loves being on her tummy, but has figured out she doesn't have to lift her head up all the time, and prefers to rest her head on the side and watch her sisters. She uses a high chair and likes to bang things on it. She still loves her bumbo, especially when she can sit in it with graham cracker in hand, watching her sisters. She goes to sleep so easily, we just lay her down when she's tired, and she goes to sleep. She's really close to sitting up on her own, but still leans too far forward.  :) She loves being around people, and we love her!

Swimming and Milestones

This summer we decided to get a summer pass at the local city pool. It's pretty reasonably priced, and we have high hopes that the girls will have fun. Gabi took swim lessons last year, and at the end of the summer this year Gabi and Madi are taking them together. Gabi really struggled the first week of swim lessons- new and scary for her- so we hope going to the pool more often and swimming will help both girls once swim lessons roll around. So far they've had a ton of fun and play until they get cold. I haven't been brave enough to take them on my own yet...but we'll see.

This summer they have a program going on where they offer free lunches for kids at the library and local park. We decided to try it out, and it's been a ton of fun. The girls really look forward to getting chocolate milk, a new-found love since we have never bought it for them. I love not having to worry about making lunch. It's also been fun to hang out with friends who come, and make new ones.
The summer reading program also started this week. We went on Wednesday for two hours- which I think is a little long for small children- and the girls had a blast. Several children from our ward were there, so nice to see familiar faces! This week they read Curious George flys a kite. They also made little puppet things and kites. The kites were super fun. I wish I would have remembered to bring my camera. It was so awesome seeing like 50 kites from all the kids flying around as they ran to get them up in the air. Madi mostly dragged hers on the ground, but she had an absolute blast!
It has been so fun to get out and do things this summer and become more familiar with what our little city has to offer.

Today when we were eating lunch the girls were chasing butterflies, really pretty Monarch ones, and Gabi tripped and fell pretty bad. She scrapped up both her knees and said her teeth hurt. Her knees were bleeding pretty bad, but I didn't see and blood or anything to worry about on her teeth. It does look like she has a scratch on her tooth, so she must have hit pretty hard. Hopefully there won't be any lasting effects with her teeth. Her knees looked a lot better after she had a bath, but she was still pretty cautious about them.

Gabi is growing up so fast! Every day it seems like lately I look at her and I think, "She just got a little taller, a little smarter, and even cuter than yesterday!" She loves to be around people and she is always smiling! She loves to play, especially pretend play (wow she reminds me of my little sister!). She also loves loves LOVES to go to church. Her favorite song is still "I love to see the temple" and she can now recite the first and second article of faith on her own! (we practice those almost every night- she wants to!) She is such a spiritual giant, and such a great example to us. She loves her sisters a ton and loves to help out in any way that she can.
Madi is talking more and more every day. In fact tonight she said her very first full prayer. I helped her out a little, but she actually said quite a bit of it on her own. It was so cute! Totally melted my heart. It's crazy how fast kids grow. Sometimes I wish they could slow down, but I love seeing them learn and grow. She has also started counting to 12, which I had no idea she could do until I heard her counting to herself yesterday. She recognizes and knows a lot of letters and knows the sounds to almost all of them. She sure is smart and surprises me all the time. She's not a show-off kind of kid with things like that, so I kind of have to catch her doing it to know, except the letter sounds, she loves doing that.

Brynlee has started eating solids. When we went in for her 4month appt. they said to see if she watched us eat, or was drooling a lot, or wanted what we wanted to eat then to go ahead and start her with some baby cereal. She does all of those things, so we decided to try some rice cereal. She. loves. it! Seriously I have never seen a baby love rice cereal, but she does. She doesn't make faces when she eats it and she doesn't spit it out. Sooo different from my other two girls! So nice! She is really developing a lot of personality. She loves her sisters and laughs at them all the time. She likes to watch movies and gets really into them- not that we let her sit and watch them intentionally, but she tends to gravitate towards them if they're on. She bounces herself in her bouncy chair, and she loves to be in the kitchen with us. She has recently started to pick things up, and took me by surprise when she pick up a fruit snack I was holding and started sucking her fist that it was in. Oh boy!

So, that's what we've been up to lately...
