Outside
It is not uncommon to hear Gabi say, "Shoes on," shortly followed by, "Outside." She is definitely our outdoor girl, thriving on smelling flowers that are so, "pretty," and picking, "strawberries," and getting dirt on her, "toes." She has become quite the talker, and amazes us everyday with her new words. She has been her grandma's buddy this last week, helping her out anyway she can. As soon as the door opens, she is right there ready to go. She must have gotten this from Isaac, I'll have to ask his mom- because, like I said in my previous post, I am not like that. :) I love my little outdoor girl!
Thanks Mom!
My mom has been here for the last week and a half keeping me company, doing everything, and baby waiting with me. The doctors keep telling us "any day now, but it might not be until your due date." What's that supposed to mean besides me waking up everyday thinking, I sure hope it's today! My mom has helped keep me sane and keep my mind off of not having a baby yet. She has also been transforming our yard. She's amazing. I am NOT a dig in the dirt kind of a girl, so yard work and gardening definitely take a backseat. She has been out there almost everyday pulling weeds, beautifying our yard, and getting our little garden area ready for planting. I know to her it doesn't seem like a big deal because she likes that kind of thing, but I am SO appreciative, words cannot express. So, thank you mom for all you do!

Baby Update
I woke up this morning with contractions every 5-7 minutes, painful ones. Today was the day, I knew it. The contractions started hitting hard at about 3am, and I finally got up at 7am and hopped in the shower, hoping it would take some of the pain away from the contractions. It worked a little. I packed my bag and we headed off to the doctors, I had an appointment today anyway, so it worked out well. I was still having hard contractions, but probably every ten minutes at that point. We then waited and HOUR for the doctor, he just happened to be on call today. Then...we found out I was dilated to a 3. That's it. Most of the doctors in this office don't believe in inducing unless absolutely necessary. So I'm still bearing a big belly, having wonderful contractions, and wishing I was done being prego. Oh well, everything happens for a reason, I've waited this long, I can wait a few more days. Just thought I would keep you all updated.
19 Months and Growing Strong
Gabi turned 19 months old today. I cannot believe how fast she is growing! She is learning new things every day, and continually suprising me with her genious mind. She can say so many words, I can't even remember them all. A few of her latest are "strawberry" which she said today, and "mowing" which she learned last Thursday when Isaac mowed the lawn. We love her so much, and we know she' going to be a great big sister...soon!
Gabi winking!
Looking for some red strawberries, although she likes the green ones too!
