Some think our life is easy

This post is not meant to offend anyone, it is just meant to vent. I think I need it. A friend of ours said recently, "All the luck falls with the Knights." We have been blessed in many ways, but I assure you, our life is not smooth sailing, as it isn't for most. Isaac just got a new job, it pays less, but he doesn't have to work on Sundays. We receive medical bills in the mail daily, and are currently thousands of dollars in debt, but Madi is doing incredibly well. We spend more on bills each month than we make, but we are somehow making it. I don't know how. Isaac's car is on it's last leg with over 340,000 miles on it, but we have one other reliable car that we now share. So, if you think our life is easy, think again. Every day I thank Heavenly Father that Madi is alive and healthy, every day I try and think of new ways to save money, or what I can sell that we own to bring in extra income. Is life easy? No. It's not meant to be. Through trials we learn and we grow, which is ultimately why we are here. Do I wish we had enough money to pay our bills, yeah! Do I wish we didn't have car problems, yeah! Do I wish I wasn't so incredibly stressed every single day about money, definitely! Am I grateful for good health, supportive friends and family, and the gospel, with out question, YES!

"When doubts arise, when tragedies strike, the quiet voice of faith is heard in the stillness of the night as certain and reassuring as the polar star in the heavens above." Gordon B. Hinckley

I hope you are all doing well. I want to thank you again for your love and support. We couldn't do it without you!

I'm sure the reason people say this to you is because of your wonderful attitude!!! It's easy for someone, who's always sour, to look at you and think, 'Man, they've got it good.' You're so so so great and your family is awesome!!!

You are wonderful. Tough times hit and you guys handle it well. Everyone's gonna go through something sometime and its inspiring to see you grow stronger through it.
ps. I am a huge knock off wood fan. I wanted to build those farmhouse beds for our girls too. but now we have twin mattresses and absolutely no room so we're going to build the trundle. Isaac could totally handle any of her projects and just have home depot make the cuts :)
Love you guys!

I have finally figured out why I left my position in NY to move back to Bellevue and then on to Boise. To be closer to the Knights. I can't tell you how much it means to your mother and I to share a fraction of your time and family. You and Isaac are strong beyond belief and an example of faith and endurance. Stay the course and I promise things will improve. They always do. Love, Dad.
